Gareth Jones
Challenge Events Ambassador
Comedian Milton Jones from ‘Mock the Week’ and other UK television shows visited Chance for Childhood’s work in Uganda in May 2014 and Rwanda in 2016 to see our life-changing work for himself. Milton continues to promote our work and has donated the profits from some of his gigs to us. Read his blog from Rwanda. Milton has broadcast Chance for Childhood’s Radio 4 appeal not once, but twice!
Gareth Jones is our Challenge Events Ambassador. As an elite athlete, Gareth has taken on multiple events to raise money for us, such as the epic Marathon De Sables (a 250km race across the Sahara Desert). Gareth has a large social media following and speaks openly about his fitness and mental health journey.
