How you can help

🎉Wow, what an amazing evening!

With drums, cocktails, and a room bursting with energy, we came together to celebrate, connect, and share ambitions for the future.

It was an honour to raise a glass to our new CEO, Ven Nyamondo. Ven shared how her passion and drive for her work at Chance for Childhood were born from her experiences of childhood in Nairobi. She spoke of education being “the only ticket I saw to a different life” just as it is for many of the children taking part in our projects.

From our chair, Nicoletta, we heard the powerful story of Sanyu. Born with limb differences, Sanyu was kept out of school due to his limited mobility and the stigma surrounding disability in his refugee settlement. Because of our supporters – yes, you! – we were able to provide the simple items Sanyu needed, ensuring he is now included in school life and truly belongs in his classroom and community.

Our path forward is clear. By 2030 we will ensure that 200,000 more children, like Sanyu, have a childhood filled with safety, belonging and play.

Our need, too, is clear. We need to raise £50,000 or vital programmes will have to close.

Our ask of you? Take a step today to support 200,000 children. Make a donation, make a pledge, sign up for a fundraising event, mobilise your workplace, book a conversation with our team to get started. Our promise to you? Your support will transform lives.

£50k could provide 9,000 children with a quality, inclusive education.

£15k could cover an entire year’s salary for a physiotherapist who help 300 children become physically independent.

£5k could buy 50 pregnant pigs, providing 50 rural families in poverty with sustainable businesses.

£1k could fill backpacks for 150 children with books and pencils, helping them into the classroom.

Thank you to Kettner’s for hosting a wonderful event, to Dembis Thioung for an unforgettable performance, and to Ven, Nicoletta, and Carole for their inspiring words. And thank YOU, for believing in us.

Will you consider helping us reach the 200,000 children that need us?
