A message from Lee and Kate:
Thank you for visiting our donation page, we are so grateful for any donation to this wonderful charity, who are doing incredible work to provide education, health and opportunity to children across Africa.
Chance for Childhood is a charity very close to our hearts and supported by a number of our wedding guests. As many of you know, Lee was part of the original Team Abana cycling team that have so far raised over £400k across a number of challenges, including the Race Across America and the Ride Across Australia – there is even talk of a Ride Across Canada at some point in the future….
We couldn’t think of a better way to use the kindness of our guests than to continue to help those in need.
With love,
Kate & Lee

About Chance for Childhood
Chance for Childhood works across East and West Africa to ensure childhoods are filled with safety, belonging and play. In the past three years, we have supported over 186,000 children in vulnerable situations to access inclusive education and safer spaces. Children like four-year-old Sanyu from the the Kyaka II refugee settlement in Uganda, who was born with physical disabilities. His mother thought he would never be able to go to school due to them, but with our support, she enrolled him in a local school and received special orthotic shoes for Sanyu to wear – and he now walks to school hand in hand with his friends each day.
