About the Project

The project seeks to train, re-integrate and retain out of school children as well as improve learning outcomes in public basic schools in selected regions in Ghana. Lot 1 and 2 rural is being implemented in 6 districts in the Northern and Northeast regions of Ghana targeting 20,000 out of school children age 8-16 and working with 200 government basic schools.

Goals and Objectives

  • Implement an accelerated learning program to integrate 20,000 out of school children into primary schools
  • Improve literacy and numeracy learning outcomes in 200 basic schools 
  • CFC is the inclusion and social support partner in the consortium responsible to drive the inclusion and social inclusion sub-component of the project outcomes through evidence-based, adaptive design and delivery of the activities.
